How Long To Cook Salmon Grilled salmon fillet (basic recipe)


To my taste, salmon is a delicacy of gods... It's my favorite fish, so rich of its flavor, and the diversity of preparations I can make with it. This is the preparation I use as a basis for most of my dishes.


Ingredients.

6 Oz. Salmon fillet (preferably skin-free).
½ tablespoon of Extra virgin olive oil or Canola.
¼ teaspoon of mustard powder.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Utensils.


Chopping board.
Cuchicho of Cook.
Big frying pan.
Spatula.
The fun-the preparation.


Place the steak on the chopping board. Season steak with salt, pepper and mustard. Remember to add and little more salt than normal if you have to cook it quickly.

Bring the frying pan with the oil to the stove with the high heat. Once the oil is hot, place, careful not to splash, the salmon and cook for 3 minutes. Then turn the salmon over and repeat the cooking time.

As for the cooking point of the salmon, this is as varied as any meat, so I recommend to try different levels of cooking to find the most tasty. Personally, I like the middle end, which is achieved when the center of salmon remains slightly pink, while the rest of the salmon is well cooked.

Once you have achieved the level of cooking you want, remove from the fire, and... Ready!!!


Suggestions.

The salmon combines with all kinds of rice, pasta and vegetables, and, as this is a basic preparation, is designed to use sauces or dressings to complement it.

If you are looking for a high cooking level, remember to turn the salmon every 1 minute, until you reach the cooking level, to prevent it from burning or overcooking on one side.

Always allow the salmon to stand for 30 minutes or one hour before putting it in the pan. If not, they will have to use a little more salt to compensate for the lack of resting time.
